Edge makes first WWE appearance in seven months since injury as he announces participation in Royal Rumble match
Edge will wrestle for the first time in seven months at the 30-man Royal Rumble match this weekend.
The Rated-R Superstar has been sidelined with a torn tricep injury since losing to Randy Orton in a 45-minute match at Backlash last June.

Edge, 47, was a surprise Royal Rumble entrant at last year’s pay-per-view as he sealed a nine-year in-ring return.
He went on to feud with Orton at WrestleMania 36 and Backlash, before suffering his untimely injury setback.
Announcing his Royal Rumble participation on this week’s Raw, Edge said: “I am entering the Royal Rumble.
“I know it won’t be like last year. The stakes are higher because I know that the window closes for me more and more every day.

“So I need to win the Royal Rumble, I need to main event WrestleMania and take back what I never lost, what is mine.
“If you’ve got a dream, at some point you’ve got to fight to make that dream a reality.
At the Royal Rumble I’m going to fight with every fibre of my being, with every breath left in my body to make this maybe far-fetched dream come true.”
